Pot-Limit Omaha Takes the Spotlight
This fall, the PokerGO Tour (PGT) is doubling down on pot-limit Omaha (PLO) with the Texas PLO Roundup, a nine-event poker festival running from Nov. 16-25 at Champions Club Texas in Houston. With buy-ins ranging from $300 to $5,300 and a total of $1.2 million in guarantees, this series is a must-attend for PLO enthusiasts.
The highlight of the festival is the $3,300 buy-in Main Event, which boasts a massive $1,000,000 guaranteed prize pool. The event runs Nov. 21-25 and offers multiple starting flights, giving players plenty of opportunities to join the action.
Elite PLO Action and Leaderboard Points
The Texas PLO Roundup isn’t just about big prize pools; it’s also a chance for players to rack up valuable PGT leaderboard points. These points could help players secure a spot in the prestigious $1,000,000 PGT Championship at the end of the season.
“Texas is one of the fastest-growing poker markets, and the PGT Texas PLO Roundup offers fans and players the ultimate PLO experience,” said Tim Duckworth, PokerGO’s Director of Live Events. “With the $1,000,000 guaranteed Main Event and a stellar lineup of tournaments, this stop is set to be one of the year’s highlights.”
High Roller Action
In addition to the Main Event, the festival features three $5,300 buy-in high roller tournaments running from Nov. 22-24. These one-day events are sure to attract top talent, with PGT points on the line for every buy-in.
Champions Club: A Premier Poker Destination
The series will be hosted at Champions Club Texas, a venue known for its luxurious amenities. The poker room is part of a boutique-style facility that includes a 71-room hotel, complimentary valet parking, 24/7 food service, a fitness center, and more.
“Hosting the PGT Texas PLO Roundup highlights the growth of poker in Texas and solidifies Champions Club as a top destination for high-stakes action,” said Isaac Trumbo, President of Champions Club Texas.
